It has been a busy week for me with photo shoot stuff so I feel as if I've fallen behind with my home - which isn't a great feeling. Looking forward to tomorrow when I can start getting things back on track.Conference weekend was a nice break though. Some of the high lights for me (besides sustaining Pres. Monson) was seeing my kids learning that conference was important to us so therefore, it was important to them. Also, the last couple of months we've been memorizing the Articles of Faith as a family (tomorrow we start #13) and everytime an A of F was recited my kids would look up from whatever they were doing and would recite with the speaker. Then we would quiz them as to which one it was and they would be spot on. Ruby is my smart little whip when it comes to memorizing and she helps me along when I get stuck on them.
Looking forward to seeing what this next week holds for me and my kiddos. Eli turns two on Friday so it should be a great week as I prepare for his birthday festivities.

Awesome that you have lots of business going. I love Conference as well. I always look forward to hearing what is said from our elders. I love that your kids get into it. Great Idea about the articles of faith.
There were a lot of Art.of Faith recited in conference. I think you put it well, your kids saw that it was important to you and so it was important to them.
I didn't like it that much.
That's what Monday's are for, right? Glad you enjoyed conference! It was marvelous!
All I want to know is where did you get that awesome "no whining" decoration? We need one of those around here!!!
I love your picture of them watching conference - cool! I also LOVE Gib's comment!!! Let him know I didn't like it much until I was in college, and then I loved it. I really like your "no whining" sign, too - boy, do we need that at this house!
Man I wish my kids would sit and watch Conference. I only got them to sit and watch when the prophet was speaking. I love Gib's comment...so classic, Davin would be saying the same thing. Ditto...I love the No Whining sign too.
You teach your children so well, I want to be more like you! Will you please teach me your mothering ways!
I think you should sell those NO WHINING signs... I could take about 7 or 8 (one for each room)... CONSTANT REMINDER right?!?! :)
