Cheap Seats

A few weeks ago I purchased  the least expensive tickets to take Ruby to the High School Musical big production show and she was ecstatic.  When we got to the Gammage Center we would show our tickets and were directed to go up and up and up and up again.  The higher we got the more I laughed at how cheap I am and what lousy seats we were going to get.  After many flights of stairs we reached our destination and were three rows from the top.  Seriously, I got dizzy looking down.  We were officially in the "cheap seats".
My cutest Ruby didn't care the least and kept telling me how excited she was and was just giddy being there.  After the show we were walking out and Ruby says, "We had the coolest seats.  We were so high and it was so steep!"  Gotta love her positive outlook.  Obviously she doesn't know how much better it could be - the key is low expectations.  Good times!!

Yeah for the positive outlook of kids! They can find the best in everything. She sure is looking older and more beautiful all the time.

Ruby knows how to "work, work, work it out". Pretty cool mom, though, to go see the play version of a movie and CD you've seen/heard thousands of times. Good on you!

Hey I just got back from Colorado, but I think I am heading up to Pinetop in the morning. My sister-in-law is up there and wants some company. I'll be back Friday afternoon.
