Peru

My parents have been living in Peru for the last three months and my brother Nick and I decided to take advantage of an opportunity and check it out.  Definitely ranks as one of the top 10 high lights of my life.  It was awesome.  Don't even get me started on everything we did because I won't stop.  We were tourists for half of the week and locals for the other half.  It was an incredible experience and I wish my other siblings could have gone and experienced it too.  I really can't put into words everything that we did and felt so I'll show you some photos, just to give you an idea.

Machu Piichu - absolutely amazing.
The sweetest little family as street performers.  The little girl totally had Nick wrapped.

The next two photos were at the orphanage. My dad had informed us that an orphanage was in need of some clothes and asked us if we could bring some.  I was blown away at the generosity of the few friends that I mentioned it to.  I came to Peru with two large, PACKED to capacity suitcases and so did Nick.  I also brought my balloons and did a little twisting for the kiddos and I'm not kidding when I say that it was a huge hit!!

And now for your viewing pleasure. . .
Nick and I decided to make a music video while on this trip and I've decided that I will do this for the rest of my life on vacation.  Great way to document and it was a blast too.  Be warned:  Nick is a funny guy!!

Don't worry, I won't comment twice. ;)

I left a comment on the youtube section, but I wanted to say "YES! I am sufficiently full of envy. Green as ever."

That was enjoyable Amy. Nick is so much like you, mannerisms, expressions, so funny. What a fun trip. Are your parents serving a mission there?

In watching the video AGAIN we were amazed at the costume Nick had of a Lama, rolling in the dust looked so much like a real lama. GREAT COSTUME. The time and effort put into the video, WOW. MIL and FIL loved it.
