Who is your muse?
I love taking photos of 4/5 of my kids. (Gib rarely cooperates and therefore is a huge challenge to photograph so he's out of the running.) They all have their different strengths as to why I love taking pictures of them. I love Ruby's eyes in photos, I love Charlie's personality that comes out in photos, and I love Ty's skin tone and fab face expressions. But I'd have to say that Eli is one of the best. He is consistent in who he is even when the camera comes out. He doesn't have to make goofy faces or change what he's doing, he just keeps doing. I see a tender moment between he and his dad as they dip oreo cookies, I pull out the camera, the moment continues to happen. It's as if I'm not there and he is so absorbed in his "dip with Dad" that it doesn't matter what's going on around him. He is most often the overlooked child in our crew of five. People sometimes forget that we even have an Eli. But in our family he is one of the favorites amongst all of us. That is why he is my "muse" of sorts in my photographing life. (He's also my muse in other areas but I'm focusing on photography right now.)

- I'm married to an incredibly fabulous guy and we have five beautiful children. I'm able to stay home and keep our house spotless and meals on the table when needed.

This shot is so wonderful! I do hope you have it framed somewhere. The DOF and lighting are just spot on, plus it really makes me want to eat skittles.

Ash is my favorite for pictures, but he always makes a goofy face. always. So maybe he's not my favorite for pictures, but just my all-around favorite.
Love Eli - still miss him but I'm sure he doesn't remember me from nursery!
I love the simplicity yet focus of this shot...and his eyelashes!
I love skittle math, I like smartie math and m'n'm math too! He is concentrating so hard and really in to his work-way to go, good boy! He is quite handsome.
