Today we had our favorite, little friend over and it just so happened to be her first birthday. I decided to give her a little photo shoot and discovered that I have an apprentice. As we were outside shooting, Eli (whom I hadn't dressed yet for the day) went inside and got his camera and joined me on the shoot.
He tried to get her to turn around so he could get a good shot of her...
And then realized that when they're only one year old you can't expect them to cooperate...
So he moved himself and his camera to where he was better able to photograph. The kid has got a future, no doubt!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUTEST HOPE!! If I had future seeing abilities (you know, like Raven) and had seen Hope with us on her first birthday I would have been so confused when things didn't work out like I wanted them to. Who knew?

The tutu photographs great, don't you think?
What a doll! I'm glad you still get to spend time with Hope, even if you don't get to be her mom. You can be her aunt!
How cute is that! And, man, I love those foofy tutu skirts! Few things make me yearn for a girl more!
Luv the tutu and diaper man
The new link list just shows (nonprivate) blogs and when they were last updated. So you don't have to keep checking in, you just check in when it shows they have a new update from the last time you read.
I left the "Summer"comment earlier. Just trying to stay mysterious
She's a doll! And, Amy, you are an amazing person! You have dealt with things far better than I would have, I'm sure.
How fun! And, ya, that would have been very confusing - maybe that's why we don't have that power?
TOOO Cute! cannot believe it has been a year. Crazy how time flies!
Luv the pictures so cute!
She's adorable! I'm glad your still a part in a special way. Thanks for the comment on our blog. We'll keep you posted when we get any real news. At the moment, we're staying put and searching for a job close by until he gets to fly again.
Aim - you should check out my friend Emily's site www.emzedesigns.blogspot.com for more cute girlie designs! Seriously adorable stuff!
So cute, Amy! You're quite the babysitter--you take good care of the children AND do a photo shoot! Eli's darling, too!
