With the bad news we've gotten this week we've also received some good news: the UNDERWATER DIGITAL CAMERA GOGGLES I ordered back in May were being delivered. The kids and I have been waiting for these since our trip to Mazatlan. Guaranteed summer success. When they were actually delivered there were screams of sheer delight by everyone (except Gib, he keeps his emotions a little more bottled up - too cool for screaming). Paul told me not to get my hopes up and not to expect too much. ( I do have a tendency to build things up and then be disappointed. ) But, boy, was he wrong. They are so dang cool. Not only do they take pictures under water but they also take video. Seriously, does it get any cooler?

So, the only problem is that they're not too good looking on. This only goes to show the price I'll pay to get a fun shot of my kids. I'm devoted!! They're so fun I don't even care how I look.

First of all, how cute and tan are you in your Modbe suit! And I love the idea of underwater digital camera goggles. You look totally sweet in them. I've been saying lots of prayers and sending lots of good vibes your way. I hope you have some peace and understanding. If not, just jump in the pool and snap some cool pics.
Those are so cool! I love the underwater pics, but the one of you IN the goggles ROCKS! I almost choked on my water when I got to it. One of my very favorite things about you is your ability to laugh at yourself - you definitely taught (or maybe forced) me how to laugh at myself. You're the best!
What a cool idea... and maybe Gib could use those for part of a Halloween costume or something robotic-like. Very cool!
WOW!!! That is WAY cool! How fun! We get those disposable ones for fun, but this would be so much better! I LOVE the picture of you with Eli - really, really cute.
Ya look good, Amy!
You look like you could by some sort of super-hero with those awesome goggles! Those pictures are great!!! I'm so glad they lived up to your expectations... and Ruby's I'm assuming. She seemed to be as excited or maybe more than you were.
Maybe in two years you can out do me in Mexico. Those are way too cool and they actually look kind of hot on you.
The last comment was from your favorite brother Nick and not his daughter Jane
Wow, actually you've never looked BETTER!
Your hair is BLONDE!
And, thanks, my thumb is most likely not broken, just bruised (along with my ego).
It was so fun to see you. You look so great! It will be fun to keep in touch through blogging. My kids would love the goggles. You'll have to give me the full lowdown. You have such a cute family!
It's not so much the goggles as it is your gorgeous smile in that last picture! Too cute!
OH my gosh! I am cracking up! I love the pic of you with them on. But I am sooo happy that the saga of the over due goggles has ended. :) happy snapping
Wow. Did you think twice before hitting "upload picture" on that one of you in the super power goggles? You are so frikin' awesome! I love your family. Their personalites shine through even underwater. What a great shot!
