FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

What a great start to the first of the school year.  In years past Gib (4th grade)  has been so nervous the first few weeks of school but this year it has been drastically different.  He is done phenomenally.  And Charlie, that kid is eating it up!  He looooves going to kindergarten and finally going to the big kid school.  Ruby (2nd grade), as usual, is excited about everything and can't stop talking about all the cool things they do at school.  She even rated her day a "9" with "10" being the greatest day ever.
When I picked Charlie up from his first day of school, I'm not kidding, he was the cutest kindergartener there!  The first thing he said to me was , "Tell Ruby she doesn't have to make me lunches anymore, I can just get my lunch here."
Notice Eli's backpack, he wears it every morning until we've dropped the kids off at school.  We're having a good time just hanging out and playing imaginary baseball in the house.  As soon as the kids come home he's off and playing with them as they all seem just as excited to see him.
And off they go to yet another year of school.

Meg said she met the "famous" Ruby. Famous because I've been telling her to look for her and get to know her. I'm glad they are in such a fun class together.

Lets get together for lunch, my treat. When can you do it?

Your kids are so cute Aim! And I love the backpack thing - Nick brings his (full of Trains usually) everywhere we'll let him. School starts next week for us. . .I'm a bit sad about it, but Max and Grey couldn't be happier!
