Also, we celebrated Charlie's 8th birthday and this was the very first year I didn't have the party at our house,  he wanted to take his friends to play some laser thing.  Not going to make it a habit though he and his friends had a blast!

 While he was gone I put the finishing touches on his requested VOLCANO cake.  I was impressed.  And you?

 Did the traditional balloon twisting for Gib's birthday in his class.  One would think 6th graders wouldn't care much for balloons but one would be wrong.  I also did it for Charlie's class a few days later but haven't put those photos on my computer yet.

 Was the official photo booth photographer for the 6th grade Hollywood themed dance.  The boys have been dreading it all year long but realized that it wasn't as big a deal as they were making it.  (Actually it's the girls that make it a big deal by trying to get the boys to ask them to the dance).  It was just a fun party where the kids had a good time with a great d.j. getting them involved.  I'm glad I got to be there.

Gib and Charlie had their important interviews with their bishop (great guy).  Gib was in order to get the Aaronic Priesthood and Charlie's was in order to be baptized.  

 Gib passed and was able to receive the priesthood.  So grateful that Ange and fam were able to be there and have Uncle Cam and Brock a part of the process.

 So proud of my eldest child.  It was a small realization that he's growing up and it won't be too far off before he's preparing to go on a mission. AHHHHH!
