Day Off!

We had a relaxing day yesterday and it was a real treat having Paul home.  It seems as if he never has those random Monday holidays off but yesterday he did - HOORAY!!  Unfortunately for him I was a bit grumpy - no explanation, just a grumpy mom.  But I was in a fine mood when we were away from the house and playing.  I think it was the mess of the house making me grumpy and I had no desire to clean.  Sometimes it just seems never-ending.  The weather couldn't have been more perfect and we spent most of the afternoon hiking and playing at the park.  Though it seemed as soon as we got home I was grumpy again.  But today is a new day and I'm not grumpy.  Sing glory, glory!!!!!

We had Tom home yesterday too and I loved it. It is so nice to have the dads home! I hate it when I am grumpy for no apparent reason. Tom can usually tease it out of me and sometimes nothing works.

I am SO glad to know others get grumpy and don't really have anything to blame it on - it's really frustrating! Of course, I don't let my kids get away with it :)

Lucky to have hubby home on Pres. Day! We missed you at cub scouts, I think Gib has a part in the skit that he may want to know about...he is scout #4 woo hoo! Looks like you guys had a fun outing with the family.

Looks like so much fun! We were surprised by Ben getting Pres. Day off, as well. Getting outside was sooooo overdue! And, I can relate on the housework thing. Sometimes, it's not a big deal. Other times, I just don't want to do it!

Amy Kroff! I just have to tell you how cute your blog is. (I found yours after you commented on Mandy's blog.) I don't know if you even remember me, but we lived in Boston with you guys. Just reading your blog reminds me how darling you are. Your positive attitude and enthusiasm for life are contagious. If you don't mind, I'll be reading your blog. I need your happiness in my life!!! Your family is so cute. I can't believe how much your kids have grown. Your youngest looks just like Gib did when you left Boston. Take care!
